The signature to Zoe’s abstract artworks is her emphasis on deep and rich texture. The pieces are designed to become the focal point of their environment. With a background in Textile Design and an established previous career in fashion and interior styling, Zoe creates striking dynamic paintings using a mixed media approach.

Inspired by the elements of the natural world her interest in light, reflection and the textures found within nature inform the base of her paintings. Layered with emotions and cultural muses, this fusion of influences results in Zoe’s statement expressive style. Zoe’s use of layered paint and pastels creates rich surface where marks and shape can be expressed and read in a way that is individual to the viewer. Her use of metallic leaf within the paint layers, create vibrancy and light.

Zoe welcomes bespoke commissions and enjoys the process of creating artwork that is uniquely personal. As part of her commission practise Zoe creates a personalised mood board with a bespoke colour palette designed exclusively to compliment the space. Zoe has created artwork for restaurants, offices and show homes across the UK and is currently featured in Galleries in London and Surrey.
